The 2025 KTM 85 SX 19/16 is a competition-ready youth motocross bike built for riders moving up in speed, skill, and confidence. Designed with KTM’s Ready to Race philosophy, it delivers championship-level performance in a lightweight, agile package tailored for serious young racers.

At the core is a liquid-cooled 84.9cc two-stroke engine paired with a six-speed transmission, offering crisp throttle response and strong power throughout the rev range. The engine’s lightweight design and responsive delivery allow riders to accelerate hard out of corners while maintaining precise control through technical sections of the track.

The bike is built around a chromoly steel frame inspired by KTM’s full-size motocross models, providing excellent rigidity and predictable handling. This 19-inch front / 16-inch rear wheel configuration offers added stability and confidence, making it ideal for taller youth riders or those transitioning toward full-size machines.

High-end suspension comes from WP XACT 43 mm front forks and a WP XACT rear shock, both fully adjustable to fine-tune performance for rider preference and track conditions. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent stopping power, while lightweight bodywork and ergonomic design promote rider movement and control.
