Manufacturer Warranty Includes:
- Engine Warranty
- Trailmaster Products:12 months/10000 miles
- Other brands: 6 months/6000 miles
- Parts Warrenty
- Trailmaster Products:6 months/6000 miles
- Other brands: 3 months/3000 miles
Defective parts will be replaced with new or rebuilt components during the warranty period.
What the Warranty Covers
- Engine: Internal lubricated parts such as pistons, camshaft, timing chain, etc.
- Engine Case: Covered if damage is caused by internal mechanical failure.
- Drive System: Differential gears, drive shaft, CV joints, axle bearings.
- Fuel System: Carburetor, fuel pump, fuel injectors, and related components.
- Electrical: Stator, CDI, starter motor, and related components.
- Cooling System: Radiator, water pump, cooling fan motors.
- Brakes: Calipers, rotors, and drum brake linkage.
- Chassis: Frame, swing arms, and A-arms (excludes damage from jumping or impact).
- Transmission: Internal lubricated parts and transmission cases under certain conditions.
What is Not Covered
- Wear-and-tear items: Batteries, belts, brakes, tires, chains, lights, spark plugs, etc.
- Misuse or abuse: Includes racing, stunt riding, jumping, or over-revving.
- Improper maintenance: Includes lack of routine maintenance or using incorrect lubricants.
- Incorrect assembly or repairs: Including use of aftermarket parts or improper setup.
Coverage and Limitations
Professional Assembly Required
- Units must be assembled by a qualified mechanic or authorized dealer. Warranty claims require proof of professional assembly.
Parts and Advice Warranty
- Warranty covers replacement parts and technical guidance for diagnosing issues.
- Labor for diagnosis or part installation is not included.
Use and Exclusions
- Warranty applies only to recreational use under manufacturer guidelines.
- Excludes labor costs, wear and tear, consumables, and damage from improper assembly or unauthorized repairs.
Filing a Warranty Claim
- For Parts Warranty:
Submit your claim via the Parts Request Page. Include your original invoice and required documentation. - For Engine Warranty:
- Obtain an RMA number from MotoBuys.
- Remove and package the motor safely.
- Ship it to the designated repair facility using the provided shipping label.
